This enhancement is a part of the January 7, 2023 release.
Customers can control the image shared on Facebook from the module and item level within the News Flash module.
To customize the image for the module, you will need to visit the properties tab within the News Flash module and add any link for an image to the Open Graph Tag Image field.
For item level images you would use the image uploader in the item. That will be the image shown on social media. This will be used in place of any module-level image for your social media postings.
Important Notes
- Use the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool to test how your shared content is viewed. The debug tool also refreshes any scraped content for your websites, so it can be useful if you need to update them more often than the standard 24-hour update period.
- We recommend you use images that are at least 1080 pixels in width for the best display on high-resolution devices. At the minimum, you should use images that are 800 pixels in width. We recommend using 1:1 images for better performance with image link ads.

I can't locate how to add the Open Graph Tag Image field in the article itself or to the image itself. Can you please give specific instruction on that?
Same question. I'm not seeing an Open Graph field on the news flash item.
The article has been updated. For item level images you would use the image uploader in the item. That will be the image shown on social media. This will be used in place of any module-level image for your social media postings.
We apologize for any confusion. Thank you.
