Depending on the state in which you live only certain staff positions can publish an agenda. Due to this, the Agenda Center Module requires a user to have Owner rights to be able to publish an agenda that is visible to the public.
Important Note
- We recommend that you assign permissions at the category level. This way, you only give the permissions to that category and not the whole module.
Instructions
- Select Modules, then Content, and then finally Agenda Center
- Select the category you wish to set the permissions for
- Select Actions
- Select Modify
- Scroll to the Permissions section
- Select the groups you want to give permission to and determine what level of permissions
- View (V): Viewers can look at the page(s)
- Author (A): Authors only have the right to create agenda items to go into the agenda itself; the Author level cannot create an agenda.
- Publisher (P): Publishers have the right to create and modify agendas for review by an owner or a system administrator; they can publish and unpublish items but not publish and unpublish agendas.
- Owner (O): Owners have full rights to their group’s agenda categories, but the Owner and System Administrator are the only permission levels that can publish a completed agenda to the front side of your site; the Owner has the right to override any work rules that have been created for that agenda category.
