This article will show you how to add an Alert Center widget to your page.
Instructions
- Navigate to the page you would like the alert widget on
- Turn on Live Edit
- Select Widgets > Modules > Alert Center
- Drag and drop the widget where you would like it on the page
- Note: Make sure you see a dotted container appear in the desired spot on your page before you drop your widget.
- Configure your Widget options
- Skin: Allows you to select from a list of pre-created styling options for your widget
- Note: Skin will auto-populate a recommendation based on the location of the widget.
- Header Text: The text that will appear above the calendar (default is “Alerts”)
- Option Set: Choose the desired Option Set (typically only Default is available depending on design)
- Note: Skin will auto-populate a recommendation based on the location of the widget.
- Display: Set the number of items to display in your widget
- Category: Choose the appropriate category
- Advanced Options
- Push: Will put the alert widget on all versions of the page
- Push Options: Select where you would like the alert widget to appear when pushed to other versions
- Skin: Allows you to select from a list of pre-created styling options for your widget
- Select X at the top right corner of the Widget Options box to save your options
- Select a save option
- Save: Will save the changes you have made in a draft to be published later
- Save as Copy: Will save the changes
- Save and Publish (draft pages only): Will save the changes and publish them to the live site
- Cancel: Will delete the changes

Is the who can use this feature box correct? I have seen publishers have the ability to add and configure the Alert Center widget.
