This article will show you how to add a Photo Album to your Photo Gallery.

Add a Photo Album

Who can use this feature?
System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author (Submit for review)

 

 

  1. Sign in to your site
  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Photo Gallery
    Modules menu with Photo Gallery selected..
  3. Click Add Album
    Add album
  4. Fill in the information fields
    New album fields.
    • Album Title: Create a name for your album
    • Cover Photo: Upload a cover photo, once you have published photos in your album
    • Permissions: Assign group permissions
      • View: Viewing rights only
      • Author: Ability to create and edit content, cannot publish
      • Publisher: Can publish changes and new creations
      • Owner: Full rights to the photo album
  5. Click Save and Publish
    Save and publish button.

Modify a Photo Album

Who can use this feature?
System Administrator | Owner | Publisher | Author (Can only modify unpublished albums)

 

 

 

  1. Sign in to your site
  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Photo Gallery
    Modules menu with Photo Gallery selected.
  3. Select your desired Photo Album with the right-hand menu
    select album
  4. Click Actions next to the album name
    Album actions.
  5. Select Modify
    Modify button.
  6. Make any modifications
    Modify photo album title and cover photo.
    • Album Title: Edit the name of your album
    • Cover Photo: Upload/change a cover photo, once you have published photos in your album
    • Permissions: Assign/change group permissions
      • View: Viewing rights only
      • Author: Ability to create and edit content, cannot publish
      • Publisher: Can publish changes and new creations
      • Owner: Full rights to the photo album
    • Default Credit: Assign default photo credits to every picture in the album
    • Right-click Protection: Disable the ability for visitors to right-click on a picture
      Note: This means that they will not be able to save pictures to their computer.
  7. Click Save Changes at the top of the page 
    Save changes button.

Delete a Photo Gallery Album

Who can use this feature?
System Administrator | Owner

 

Important Note

You have to unpublish an album and delete all of its pictures before you can delete it.

 

 

  1. Sign in to your site
  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Photo Gallery
    Modules menu with Photo Gallery selected.
  3. Use the right-hand side menu to select the album you want to delete
    Select album.
  4. Bulk delete all the pictures in your album
  5. Click Actions next to the photo cover
    Album actions.
  6. Select Unpublish
    Unpublish album.
  7. Click Actions again and select Delete
    Delete button.
  8. Click OK to confirm
    Ok button.
