This article will show you how to add a photo folder to your site and fill it with images.
Who can use this feature?
Important Note
This will show you how to add a Photo Folder, not a Photo Album. The difference is:
- Folder: Accessible site-wide, can use in a variety of ways
- Album: Only in the Photo Gallery
Instructions
- Navigate to Modules > Content > Photo Gallery
- Select Add Photo(s) on the right-hand side
- Select Add Folder
- Note: If you do not have the option to Add Folder, this means you do not have adequate permissions and will need to reach out to a system administrator on your site.
- Type in the name of the folder
- Select Add Folder
- Select Add Images while in new folder space
- Either drag-and-drop images into the image space or click on the space to select photos from your computer
- Hit Continue
- Modify the Display Name and Alt text for the photo(s)
- Note: Alt text is for accessibility and will appear or be read to those who cannot see the image; be descriptive.
- Select Add Images
- The photos will appear in the folder

It appears you cannot delete a folder from this section, but that would be a great enhancement request.
