This article will show you how to modify items in the Staff Directory.
Instructions
- Navigate to Modules > Content > Staff Directory
- Select your desired category
- Hover over the desired item
- Select Modify
- Make the necessary modifications
- First Name: Staff member's first name
- Last Name: Staff member's last name
- Pronoun: Staff member's pronouns
- Title: Staff member's title
- Phone: Contact phone
- Additional Phone: Secondary contact phone
- Submits a Form: Allows a form to be submitted
- Email: Staff member's email
- Show Email as: Leave as Email
- Link: Allows you to add a link
- Link Text: Allows you to add link text
- Biography: Allows you to add a biography
- Photograph: Allows you to include a photograph
- Show Archive: Allows you to show the archived items
- Scroll to the top and select Save

This says an author should be able to modify and we have publishers that cannot modify. this is happening in several modules and is getting rediculous.

It appears that authors cannot modify staff directory items and that was a mistake. I encourage you to reach out to support to see if the correct groups have the permissions that allow publishers to edit.
