This article will show you how to use Move Mode in the Staff Directory to re-order staff or departments.
Important Note

If the employees are part of the department and do not show on the site-map version of the staff directory, the Show Items in Categories setting will need to be turned on in order to move staff:
- Click the Settings icon in the Staff Directory
- Mark the checkbox for Show Items in Categories
- Click Save
- Click the Settings icon in the Staff Directory
- The Actions > Move option within the module does not work and only allows you to move the staff member's departments.
Instructions
- Go to Modules > Content > Staff Directory
- Hover over the name you want to move and select Move

Move Mode: You can choose to insert the item above or below any item your mouse is currently over
- Hover over the name you would like the selected name to be near
- Insert Above: Will insert the selected name above the hovered name
- Insert Below: Will insert the selected name below the hovered name
