Accessibility and the usability of our products is a top priority at CivicPlus. We are currently auditing our software using manual testing including screen readers, the best professional engineering tools at our disposal, and human testing to ensure we have a strong assessment of our compliance. Our ongoing roadmap will prioritize any gaps we may have in the full World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA (WCAG 2.2 AA).
CivicPlus is committed to facilitating accessibility and usability across all its digital products for people with disabilities. CivicPlus has implemented the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (WCAG 2.1 AA) as its web accessibility standard. Our products are designed with accessibility as the backbone, and we add guardrails to keep user-added content within compliance as best we can.
We are aware of state laws and federal rulings regarding web accessibility. We are working with government agencies to understand how compliance will be enforced. We will communicate our findings and our plan as soon as it is practical, and we will update our customers on a periodic basis.

Will there be any update on this information coming now that the Department of Justice has issued an updated final rule requiring local governments (of populations 50,000+) to conform to WCAG 2.1?

We do not have a formal update to this yet, but it will be updated soon.
I can point you to our Product Updates section to see that we are making a ton of progress in moving towards a higher level of compliance for the Web Central CMS in areas that most customers would not have access to update.
I am sure you are aware, but sharing here for everyone, that there is also work that can be done to the content on your site to help raise the overall level of compliance. I have some resources linked from the latest webinar that may help to provide direction for some teams in what to look for and how to handle certain items.
Thank you.
