Graphic Links Best Practices

Graphic buttons should either be action items that allow the user to perform a task or be a link to information that many users frequently seek. Graphic buttons should not be seasonal or temporary; those items are better suited for the left navigation.

Reasoning

A graphic button is designed to be more prominent on a website, which means more people will notice graphic buttons sooner when visiting a website. Since the majority of people come to a website to perform a task, we recommend that you feature task-oriented items prominently on the website as graphic buttons to aid site visitors to accomplish their tasks.

    Why don't you have the size dimensions or file type for graphic links under Best Practices?
