Make a Default Message

Default Messages are the alerts the public receives via e-mail or SMS text message when new agendas are posted to the public site, once someone has signed up for Notify Me®. 

 

You can change the default message for the category or for the module. If you change the module default message it will not affect any existing category.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Modules > Content > Notify Me
    nav to notify me
  2. Select Message Defaults
    Message Defaults
  3. Make the changes to your default message
    notifyme
    • HTML Message (Welcome, Header, Footer): Create a message in HTML format
      • Note: Click Copy HTML to Text to directly paste the content of the HTML message into your text message.
    • Text (Welcome, Header, Footer): View what the HTML will look like in a regular message
  4. Select Save 
    save edits

    It would be nice to know what auto filling options we have. For instance <<EnterListNameHere>> plugs in the list name, but what else is available?
