We limit changes to DNS records to those who are system administrators on your website. We can also add users as consultants in our tracking system if you do not want to give them access to the administrative side of your website. To do so, please email Support to request that we add your DNS contact to our list of authorized users for you.
Important Notes
- We request that you provide at least a 24-hour notice for all scheduled changes or large-scale updates so that our DNS administrators can schedule these changes to be made during our hours of operation.
- General DNS propagation takes 1 to 24 hours to propagate worldwide.
Instructions
- Option 1: Email a request for a DNS change into CivicPlus DNS for a 4-hour or less turnaround time.
- Option 2: Contact Support to make changes. The ticket generated from the call is assigned after the requested changes to DNS have been noted, and the primary contact has authorized the change.
