Assign Permissions to the Whole Module

Learn how to assign permissions for any of Web Central's modules.

 

Important Notes

  • Do not give permissions here unless you want to give a group access to the entire module. If a group does not need access to the whole module, you can set category permissions.
  • Do not click Save and Push Down unless you want to remove all existing permission groups except for the one you are selecting.

  

Who can use this feature?
System Administrator | Owner (at Module Level)

 

 

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site
  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select the applicable module
    Activities on the Module Content menu.
    Note: For this walkthrough, we are using the Activities module.
  3. Select the Permissions tab.

  4. Set the appropriate Permissions for this module
    module level permission
    Note: View the Permissions User Guide for an overview of permissions.
    • Permissions: View, Author, Publisher, or Owner.
  5. Select Save at the top of the page.
