Edit a Widget on the Homepage

This article will explain how to edit the widgets on a website's homepage.

Instructions

  1. Log in to your website solution
  2. Navigate to the Homepage
  3. Ensure that Live Edit is On:
    To edit a page, enable Live Edit.
  4. Click the Container Inheritance Options lock attached to a widget on your page:
    A Homepage's locked widgets often require changing the Homepage's Layout.
  5. Within the Container Inheritance modal, select the Go to the Layout Page button:
    The widget's Container Inheritance pop-up message.
  6. Locate the widget you want to edit
  7. Hover over the widget you are editing and click the Widget Options handle:

  8. Update the Widget Options as desired:

    Note: Widget options will vary based on the widget. View our Widgets section in the Help Center to learn more.
  9. Click the Close/X button to exit the Widget Options:

  10. Click the page's Save button:
    The page's Save button on the Live Edit ribbon.
