The process in this article can be used to update the name of any folder in your Public Images section of the Document Center module.
Important Notes
- This process will not change the name of your main root folder, often called 'Intranet'.
- To rename your main root folder, add the following URL path after your site's domain: /Admin/DocumentCenter/Folder/Edit/13?renderMode=1&loadSource=4
- Example: https://yourdomain.com/Admin/DocumentCenter/Folder/Edit/13?renderMode=1&loadSource=4
Instructions
- Sign in to your site
- Navigate to the Document Center:
- Click the Modules menu
- Select the Content tab
- Click Document Center
- Click the Public Images tab:
- Select the folder you would like to change:
- Click the Modify Folder button:
- Make any modifications:
- Name: The name of your folder

Department Header: Optional. The associated Department Header for filtering search results
Note: A search from pages with the same Department Header will only find items from associated folders. -
Permissions: Sets which groups have View, Author, Publisher, or Owner access to the folder
- View: View the live side only
- Author: Authors can submit new items and update or delete unpublished items

Publisher: Users with Publisher permissions can:
- Create and publish new items
- Update or delete published and unpublished items
- Accept or reject submitted items
- Create or update categories
- Assign category permissions

Owner: These users can:
- Create and publish new items
- Edit and delete unpublished and published items
- Accept and reject submitted items
- Create and edit categories
- Assign category permissions
- Click the Save button:
