This article will show you how to set up Intranet Category permissions.
Instructions
- Open up the module you would like to use.
- Note: For this article, we will be using the Activities module.
- Select an item within the module.
- Navigate to the item's edit screen.
- In some modules, you will want to click Actions.
- Then, click Modify.
- Then, click Modify.
- In other modules, you must click Choose an Action > Properties after selecting the module.
- In some modules, you will want to click Actions.
- Navigate to the module's Permissions section.
- Remove Guest permissions.
- Note: This will make that category no longer visible, unless the visitor signs into an account with permissions in one of the other modules.
- Add the view rights to your intranet group(s)
- View: Allows only viewing rights.
- Authors: Allows editing rights.
- Publisher: Allows publishing and editing rights.
- Owner: Allows module owner rights.
- Choose a saving option.
- Save Changes: Will save the changes but not publish them.
- Save and Publish: Will save and publish changes to the live site.
- Cancel: Will not save the changes.
