Unlock a Page

This article will show you how to unlock a page so you are able to see the Actions button and make edits.

 

Important Note

  • The Actions button will not appear if another user has locked the version.

 

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner

 

 

Instructions

  1. Log in to your website and navigate to the desired page
  2. Ensure that Live Edit Is On
    The Live Edit Is On button in the toolbar at the top of the page.
  3. Ensure that the Versions tab is selected on the Live Edit pane
    The blue, rectangular Versions tab on the live edit pane.
  4. Select the Version that does not have the action button/is locked
    An example draft version in the Versions menu without an action button.
  5. Click the Unlock and Edit button at the top of the page
    The green, rectangular Unlock and Edit button.
  6. The Actions button should appear
    A blue, rectangular Actions button on the Live Edit pane.
