Schedule a Page to Rotate From Version to Version

This article will show you how to rotate content on a page, from version to version.

Instructions  

  1. Navigate to the page you want to edit
  2. Ensure that Live Edit Is On
    live_edit_on
  3. On the Versions tab, click Actions for the current version
    actions
  4. Select Options
    options
  5. Scroll to Display - Stopping Date and enter a date to stop displaying the current version

  6. Click Save Changes

    Note:     If your version is in Draft Mode, select Save and Publish 
  7. Click Actions next to the version you would like to display at a later date
    Select_draft_version
  8. Select Options
    options
  9. Scroll to Display - Starting Date and enter a date to display this version
    start_date
  10. Click Save Changes
    save_changes2
  11. Click Save and Publish 
    save_and_publish
  12. The Version that is set to publish on a future date will show as Pending
    Pending_version

    It would be nice if there was a time option for scheduling as well as a date. If we want one page to immediately replace another do we schedule the current version to unpublish on the same date as the new version is scheduled to publish?
