This article will show you how to create a reservation in the Facilities module as a back-end user.
Instructions
- Sign in to your site
- Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Facilities
- Select a category
- Click Actions next to your desired facilities
- Select View Calendar
- Select the Reserve button
- Fill out the New Reservation fields

Reservation Type: Choose whether this reservation is for a Single Event or multiple Recurring Events

Recurring Events: For Recurring Events, additional information is required.
Note: Users can only create 52 recurrences of a reservation at one time.- Recurrence Type: Select Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
- Every [] day(s): Set how often the recurrence occurs
- Every day: Click this button to indicate that the recurrence is every day

Recurring Events: For Recurring Events, additional information is required.
- From: Select a date and time to begin the reservation
- To: Select a date and time to end the reservation
- All Day: Click this checkbox to indicate the reservation as all-day

Reservation Type: Choose whether this reservation is for a Single Event or multiple Recurring Events
- Click Check Availability and Continue
- Click Proceed with Reservation (if necessary)
Note: You will get a pop-up if you are trying to make a reservation that normally would not be allowed (such as trying to reserve a facility inside the Advance Notice window). Read the pop-up, and if you still want to make the reservation, click the Proceed with Reservation button. - Fill out the front-end reservation form
- Event Name: Create a name for the event
- Event Details: Create a brief description of the event

Event Date: Retains earlier event date
- All Day: Retains indication of an all-day event
- First Name/Last Name: Your first and last name
- Email Address: Your email address
- Phone Number: Enter your phone number
- List this event as private on the facility calendar: Click Yes to show this event as private
- Click Submit
- Select Done on the Reservation Form Submission page
- The page reads: "Your Form Has Been Submitted Successfully. Thank you for your reservation. Your request will be processed shortly and you will receive an email letting you know whether or not your reservation is approved. A copy of your submitted form will be sent to the email address specified. Please contact us if you have any questions, concerns, or need to make changes to your reservation."
