Turn on Enhanced Search on the Site Search Widget

This article will show you how to turn on enhanced search for Department Headers in the Search widget. This allows you to display an option to search only the currently viewed department on a Department Header Page.

  • Contact Support to turn on Enhanced Search for your site.

  • This module will not be available unless you have purchased it. If you would like to access Widget Manager at an additional cost, please contact your Customer Success Manager for more information.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site
  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Site Tools tab, select Design Center
    Site Tools menu, Design Center
  3. Select Widget Manager
    Widget Manager.
  4. Select the Search widget type and choose the applicable widget
    Search widget.
  5. On the Behavior tab, check the Enable Department-Only Search box
    Enable department only search checkbox.
  6. Click Save
    Save button.
