In this article, you'll learn more about the Filters in the History Log module and how to sort your results.
Instructions
- Sign in to your website solution
- Navigate to the History Log module:
- Click the Modules dropdown menu
- Click the Site Tools tab
- Select History Log
- Configure the filters:
- Start Date: The earliest Date Modified for the search to begin
- End Date: The most recent Date Modified for the search to end
- Start Time: The earliest Date Modified time for the search to begin
- End Time: The most recent Date Modified time for the search to end
- Content: The module that the item belongs to

Actions: The action status performed
- Archive: The content was archived
- Approve: The content was approved
- Create: The content was created
- Delete: The content was deleted
- Modify: The content was edited
- Move: The content was moved from one place to another
- Permission Change: The content's permissions were updated
- Publish: The content was published for viewing
- Reject: The content was denied by a Publisher
- Review: The content was reviewed by a Publisher
- Submit: The content was submitted for review
- Unlock: The content was locked to prevent editing
- Unpublish: The content was removed from viewing

Note: Not all modules use the same actions.
- Click the Search button:
- View the results:
- Click on a column header to sort the results in Ascending or Descending order:
- Title/Item: The item's type and name
- Date Modified: The date and time of the action performed
- Modified By: The name of the person who performed the action

Item: An identification (ID) number for the item
- ARC: Archive ID
- CID: Category ID
- DID: Document ID
- FID: Folder ID

QID: Question ID
Note: The alphanumeric identification may use different acronyms based on which module's History Log you're viewing.

Action: The action performed
Note: The History Log is divided up by module. For example, all Document Center actions are grouped.
