This article will show you how to use the Live Chat feature in CivicEngage Central. Our Support staff is ready to answer your questions and help you successfully use your site. You can also fill out a form to Contact Support.
Instructions
- Select the Help bubble
- Note: If you don't see the Help bubble, it may have been closed during a previous site session. Please see our article on Managing Live Chat for more information about how to reopen it.
- Type in your Question
- Select the most applicable Help Center article
- Click Get in Touch if you need further assistance
- Select Live Chat or Leave a Message
- Complete the Live Chat fields
- Click Start Chat
- Complete the Leave a Message fields
- Your Name: Your name
- Email Address: Your email address
- Subject: The topic or module you are seeking help with
- CivicPlus Product: Select CivicEngage > Central
- Description: Provide a detailed description of what you are seeking help with
- Attachments: Attach any screenshots to assist in your description
- Note: Maximum file size is 20MBe
- Click Send

Your new "helpful" chatbot sent me to this article when I asked how to get help but this button no longer exists. That's unfortunate as it was a great feature and the Chabot is NOT a great feature. Feels like a downgrade. :(
Also, this is yet another significant user interface change to the CMS has was not communicated ahead of time. The communication with customers lately has been lacking. How do we find out about these things ahead of time? This kind of change should never be a surprise.

I apologize that this change came as a surprise, we will make note of this so we can strive to communicate more clearly in the future. In the meantime, I would recommend following the Technical Support section. The Follow button is located in the upper left corner below the breadcrumbs. We strive to post her as changes are made that relate to your experience with support and you will be notified as a follower.
Option to "live chat" is no longer there. The chatbot is not helpful.
