This article will provide an explanation of why you cannot insert videos in iFrames into a CivicSend eNewsletter.
You cannot enter HTML embed codes from videos into any CivicSend messages, including iFrame links or HTML buttons.
Adding video creates issues in CivicSend:
- Adding video can increase the likelihood that your CivicSend messages will be auto-filtered into Spam folders
- Some subscribers may have certain websites, such as YouTube, blocked at their workplace, so videos will not be able to play.
- Some embedded iFrames will not display correctly within the Newsletter format
Resolution
You can add an image link to a page where the video is embedded, which will allow subscribers to view the video.
