Update the Custom 404 Message

This article will show you how to update your Custom 404 Message.

 

Important Note

  • Custom 404 messages do not take effect immediately. The page will need to go through an app pool recycle for the page to be updated. This recycling happens automatically every night.

System Administrator | Owner

 

Instructions

 

  1. Log in to your Web Central site
  2. Navigate to the Modules, select the Site Tools tab, and click Custom404
    By selecting the Custom404 site tool, users can update their website's as needed.
  3. Edit the Custom 404 Message
    Custom404's text editor.
  4. Click Save and Publish
    The Save and Publish button allows the user to publish the updated 404 message once it is ready.
