This article will show you how to add custom code to a content container in the page footer.
Instructions
- Log in to your Web Central website; website preferences may change what this looks like, but adding "/admin" to your website's URL will take you to a sign-in screen
- Navigate to the page you would like to add custom code to
- Ensure that the Live Edit toggle is set to on:
- Hover over the footer container that you wish to edit and click the Container Inheritance Options button:

Note: For an entire section, edit the Container from which all other containers are inherited. In this example you would select the Go to Interior - Layout Page option:

Note: For one specific page, select the Stop Inheritance option to disable Container inheritance for the footer:

- Select the Start With A Copy of the Current Container option:
- On the Live Edit Pane, select the Widgets tab:
- On the Widgets tab, select the Content tab:
- From the Content tab options, click and drag a Custom Html widget to the footer area:
- Add whatever custom code is desired to the Custom Html widget:
- Click the Done button:
- Click either the Save or Save as Copy button:
- Save: This saves the current changes to the page
- Save as Copy: This saves the current changes to the page as a new version
