This article will show you how to use Filters to perform an Advanced Search of your site and find more specific results. Advanced search options allow you to filter results by multiple keywords and phrases and even by module/content type.
Instructions
- Navigate to your page's Site Search.
- Enter keywords or other search terms and select the Search (magnifying glass) icon.
- You will be redirected to the Search page, fill out Advanced Search Options to run an advanced search.
- all these words: find pages containing all keywords (enter keywords, separated by single spaces).
- this exact word or phrase: find pages containing the exact keywords, in the order written (enter keywords for exact phrases in quotes).
- any of these words: find pages containing any of the keywords (enter OR between each word).
- none of these words: prevent pages from appearing that contain the keywords (enter a minus sign followed by a word).
- Select the drop-down list to narrow results by Content Type.
- Note: The Content Type filter allows you to search for keywords within a single module. However, you can only narrow your search to one module at a time.
- Click Submit Search (magnifying glass icon) to run the advanced search.
- Note: Or, select Standard Search to run a simple search.

- Scroll down to view the results.
