Remove End Date Requirement From News Items

A module-wide setting can now be found in the News Flash Properties to make an end date optional for news items.

 

Instructions

  1. Sign In to your site
  2. Click the Modules dropdown
    The Modules dropdown at the top of the page to the right of the Homepage and Dashboard options.
  3. Click the Content tab
    The Content tab in the left-hand navigation menu.
  4. Click News Flash
    The URL labeled News Flash in the alphabetical list.
  5. Click the Properties tab
    The tab labeled Properties, to the right of Content and Statistics, under the News Flash header.
  6. Click the Allow No End Date checkbox
    The check box under the Allow No End Date header.
  7. Click Save Changes
    The button labeled Save Changes in the top right corner of the page, beneath the tabs.
