Hi There. Do you know if we will be able to track downloads from the document center folders and image repositories?

    Best,

    Sheri

Sheri, you will be able to track downloads from Document Center, Agenda Center and Archive Center. Since images are usually used in site design elements, they will not be tracked unless they are stored in the Document Center.

CIVICENGAGE... Any Updates on this? Google is getting rather aggressive on their campaigning to migrate our account to GA4 before July 1st which is only30 days away!!!

William Silliman an email was sent last week, May 25, 2023, to the current user account we have listed for Universal Analytics. We completed adding access to GA4 for those users today. If you have not requested access to Google Analytics, please reach out to your account manager. If you had access to Universal Analytics and do not have access to GA4, please contact our Support team. Here is a copy of that email with all of the links to resources.

An Important Update About Your Municipal Website Analytics

To ensure you have access to the most advanced and robust website analytics capabilities, CivicPlus© will be making the change, along with Google, from the current Universal Google Analytics to Google Analytics 4.

What Does This Mean for You?
To make this transition simple for your team, CivicPlus created a Google Analytics 4 property for all sites and began gathering data in late August 2022. Our primary goal was to successfully transition all sites to Google Analytics 4 to ensure you do not experience a gap in reporting capabilities.

Access is being granted to Google Analytics 4 beginning on May 25, 2023, and will be complete by June 1, 2023.
You will continue to utilize Google Analytics as you do today and access your new data in Google Analytics 4 using the same account as before. There is no action needed on your part.

     Historical Data Access
(From Google) Until July 1, 2023, you can continue to use and collect new data in your Universal Analytics properties.
After July 1, 2023, you'll be able to access your previously processed data in your Universal Analytics property for at least six months.
In the coming months, we'll provide a future date for when existing Universal Analytics properties will no longer be available. After this future date, you'll no longer be able to see your Universal Analytics reports in the Analytics interface.

We know your data is important to you, and we strongly encourage you to export your historical reports during this time. If this is not done, you will lose access to your data when Universal Analytics is decommissioned by Google.

Google Analytics 4 Information and Tutorials!
We have prepared on-demand tutorial videos on Google Analytics 4 covering the basics of signing in, viewing reports and an introduction to Looker Studio to create more visual reports with your data.
There are also individual articles on specific data and reporting topics that may interest you.
