This Enhancement is a part of the June 11, 2022 release.
CivicEngage Central now has a web spell check feature that can be enabled on all instances of the rich content editor through the CMS. When toggled ‘On’ by clicking the Spell Checker icon within the editor toolbar, web spell check enables advanced spelling, grammar and text style checking. It allows the user to see and correct typos and grammar problems while. All detected misspellings and grammar errors will be instantly underlined. The user just needs to hover on a marked word and select a suggestion for replacement.
When toggled ‘Off’ by again clicking the Spell Checker icon within the editor toolbar, the editor will utilize the innate browser spell checking functionality, if available.
